FAQ's

What is the Ruben Dias jersey number?

He wears 3 at Manchester City, and every Ruben Dias Man City jersey here comes with that nameset applied.

Authentic or replica?

Puma's Authentic shirts use lighter, player-spec construction and sit closer to the body. Replicas keep the same design in a relaxed cut with dryCELL and cost less.

Can I add patches?

Yes. Shirts are stocked with EPL, Champions League, No Room For Racism and Club World Cup patch options depending on the season. Customized jerseys take 2 to 3 weeks if not in stock and are final sale

The Ruben Dias Jersey Lineup

City had spent a decade buying attackers. Then in September 2020 they paid Benfica around £65 million for a 23-year-old centre-back, the largest fee anyone had ever paid for a Portuguese defender, and the whole thing clicked. In his first season, Dias won the Premier League, reached a Champions League final, and was voted Footballer of the Year by the Football Writers' Association. No defender had won that award since 1989.

He wears 3 at Manchester City. He is right-footed but plays on the left of the pair, a deliberate quirk that lets him pass in any direction from the back. He signed a new deal in August 2025 that runs to 2029, and in 2025/26 he added an FA Cup and a League Cup to a cabinet that already held the 2022/23 treble.

Four Seasons of City Design

This is the deepest Puma archive on our City shelf, running from 22/23 through to the current shirt, and Puma treat every one of them as a reference to something specific.

The 25/26 home is the strange one. For the first time in the club's history the sash appears on a home shirt, that diagonal white stripe belonging to City's away days of the 1970s and worn by Summerbee, Bell, Lee and Book. It is $98, down from $140.

Go back and the references get denser. The 24/25 away rebuilds the 1998/99 shirt from the season City spent in the third tier, wide neon yellow and navy stripes with "30 May 1999" printed inside the collar, the day they beat Gillingham on penalties to climb out. It is $71 from $141.

The 24/25 third, in Dark Jasper, is the first maroon City shirt Puma has made and the first in that colour since 2013, with the boat from the club crest blown up across the torso as a nod to Manchester's harbour and the forward motion of the sails. The 24/25 home threads 0161, the city's area code, through the collar and cuffs.

The Bee and the Weave

Two shirts here belong to Dias and not to most of the squad. The 22/23 third, in Fizzy Light and Parisian Night, takes the worker bee, the symbol Manchester adopted from its own industrial past and which now covers the city's walls, and puts it on neon with black hoops. The 23/24 away, in Puma White and Aubergine, prints an archival weave pattern across the whole shirt as a tribute to the city's grafters and crafters, and it is built from 100% recycled polyester.

If you want a City shirt that says something beyond the badge, these two are the pick.

Portugal, and the Puma Coincidence

Dias has 76 caps and won the Nations League with Portugal in 2025, beating Spain on penalties. At the 2026 World Cup he missed the opener injured, returned against Uzbekistan, and Portugal did not concede again until the knockout rounds.

There is a neat detail for anyone assembling a wardrobe: Portugal ended a 27-year partnership with Nike and now wear Puma, the same brand as City, so Dias plays for club and country in the same maker's kit. His Portugal shirt is not in this collection, but the City range is. Filling out a City shelf? Add John Stones jerseys, Joško Gvardiol jerseys, Mateo Kovačić jerseys or Jérémy Doku jerseys.
